Hello! I have been using the Daily Moisturizing Growth Lotion for about two years, and I have been a very happy customer. This product is effective and compliments both my curly and straight styles. It helps keep my curly styles soft and supple and my straight styles shiny and gently moisturized. I simply section my hair in two or four sections and apply it to each section, particularly focusing on the edges, nape area, and ends. I'm careful about the actual amount I use because it's a special treat to my hair (okay . . . and I have a heavy hand sometimes), so I have to remember: "Eeeeasy does it" because it doesn't require a lot. In addition, I have been very pleased with the outstanding customer support that I have received from the founder and owner, Saleemah Cartwright, and the staff. Sometimes I do not have to use the heat protector, but will use everything from the leave-in conditioner to the hair growth oil on a daily basis. Depending on the style I want for the week or two weeks, I do not have to use the product everyday. I also put in the regimen of using complete Aloe Vera gel or Fantasia Hair Polishing Gel.
When I was coming up I would always wonder why my hair would not grow or look a certain way or type. My mother would always tell me that I had a good grade of hair, but would never believe her. I knew my mother had good hair and when my father passed, I was able to see that he had a good grade of hair also. I was so jealous, UNTIL I decided to go natural and one of my customer's at work told me to search "healthy hair journey." I was bored one night and accidentally stumbled upon saleemah's youtube vlog on healthy hair. I was hooked, i think i watched every video and her true love for and belief in this product compelled me to try it out. i ordered the entire line in all large sizes because i felt like i was gonna go hard or go home on this hair journey. my hair would just not grow, it was dry all the time, i wore mostly weaves and extensions so it was very thin when i did relax and i was frustrated. I followed Saleemah's regime and the only thing different i did was combine the protein and the moisture boosting treatments together as a deep condition, now i alternate weekly. My favorite items to use daily is protien leave in balance, hair follicle invigorator,moisturizing growth loition and, hair growth oil, i like these items the most because i am in law enforcement, so my hair is always up and gets dried out so fast, but when i put these products in, you cannot tell that i wear my hair up when i get off work and comb it down, and it is so shiny and i always get comments on how healthy it looks. the products truly compliment one another! (i also use the growth oil on my face and it has truly helped me with some skin issues ie. dry skin etc.) i truly have to chuckle when people ask me if this is my real hair, because sometimes i cant believe it either. I use the Protein Boosting Collection! My hair is relaxed, so I bring my products to my stylist and she uses the Amino shampoo and conditioner on my hair. In between salon visits, I use the Protein Balance Leave In conditioner and follicle Invigorator in addition to the shampoo/conditioner. My favorite products are the growth lotion and oil. EVERY DAY, I mix a pea-size amount of both in my hands and apply on my hair. I then apply the growth oil (same amount) just on my ends. Initially we were a bit skeptical of putting products in our daughters hair that were not known for use on children, although who wouldn't be. She was only 3 and now 4 years of age but the hydratherma line has proven itself to be an all around product for children and adults. I tell anyone who will listen who has a little girl to invest in their baby's hair because it's worth it. We continue to keep her hair in protective styles to prevent as much damage as possible. I got my last perm on Feb.25th 2011 and due to severe damage and shedding I decided to leave the perm alone.I transitioned for a couple of month and I did a partial chop of the back of my head and on July 15th 2011. I no longer have shedding, that slowed up somewhere around April and by June the shedding completely stopped. Because Nya has very dry hair and scalp, I wash her hair with the Moisture Plus Hair Cleanser. Nya's hair seems to really LOVE protein. After the cleanser, I use about a 1/2 of a handful of the Protein Balance Leave-in-conditioner. I make thick plaits for it to air dry. At night, I rub a small amount of the growth lotion w/ emu oil in my palm, rub her hair, ends and scalp with this light lotion. Once a month, I use the Amino Plus Protein Deep Conditioner Treatment. Lia has very fine and fragile hair. A small amount of the Amino Clarifying Shampoo is enough for a small head. To eliminate tangling, I use my fingers to comb through her hair gently. Rinse and add a small amount of the Protein Balance Leave-in-conditioner is just enough products for her hair. After several EMU oil product uses, every one of them shows obvious product build. The next day, I use a dime size amount of that awesome Daily Moisture Growth Lotion w/ Emu Oil. A little really does go a long way. I've noticed some growth with regular use of the lotion w/ emu oil.

I appreciate the fact that the Follicle Mist (then the Follicle Invigorator) is very light on my scalp. I was never the type to "grease" my scalp because the grease would weigh down my fine textured hair when it was relaxed. Plus, I never had a problem with dry scalp so why put grease on it? The Daily Moisturizing Growth lotion and Hair Growth oil ensures my hair is never dry. I just moved back to Ohio after being in the sweltering heat during the summer, the Herbal Gloss Heat Protector kept my hair from being damaged from the sun.
Overall, I purchased the whole line because I like how all of the product work well together on my hair. At one point, I went about 3 or 4 months using some products from our local drug store and I could definitely see a difference in my hair. The shedding increased and I had more frequent dry hair days than none. With the winter coming up, I plan on doing more protective styles starting with the mini-twists I have now.

Daily product used: Follice mist, leave-in conditioner, growth lotion, styling gel. I only use the Emu oil after I wash my hair to get the moisture back. I wash my hair twice a month with Moisture Boosting Collection products. I rotate every other week with moisture boosting deep conditioning treatment. My favorite products are, (I love them all) growth oil, (love the way it smells,) I don't really have a favorite--they are all GREAT products to me. I went to my sisters beauty shop in Cali in 2010, the lady told me it look like I had Alopecia, she saw little spots with no hair, I said "The devil is a lie," I don't receive that in the name of Jesus. As of today, I don't have Alopecia, Thank God !!! My hair and scalp are so much better, head doesn't itch anymore, I thank God for Hydratherma Naturals Products. I'm amazed how fast my hair is growing.....Truly a blessing !!
